- Though he is the medicine cat of PhoenixClan, he doesn't often hear from StarClan. In fact, Blazepaw wonders if he was ever meant to be a medicine cat to begin with.
- He has the softest fur of any cat in the clan.
- When he isn't collecting herbs or treating a wound, he spends most of his time napping.
- His favourite places to nap are the scrying pool next to the medicine den, the small patch of sunlight near the entrance to their cave, and Smallpaw's nest.
- His favourite prey to eat is squirrel, but his favourite food overall is actually quail eggs.
- When it rains, he enjoys sitting outside and allowing the rain to fall on him.
